SL Jenkins Construction Company is owned by Shan L. Jenkins, owner of award-winning and top-10 custom home building company, Jenkins Custom Homes.  Jenkins’ background is commercial construction, working over 10 years in the industry for such names as Hensel-Phelps and Brown & Root before starting his own company in 1998.

After several successful years in residential construction, Jenkins started SL Jenkins Construction Company to return to his roots in commercial contracting.  “There are similarities in commercial and residential,” states Jenkins.  “However, the commercial business typically tends to focus more on schedule than on quality.  This is where we can bring added value to the project.  Our many years in the residential business with a proven, award-winning quality control methodology has taught us that details can make all the difference in the finished product…and without sacrificing price or schedule.”
